There’s a lot that goes into making a record - creative choices, technical considerations, countless small decisions. Whether it’s recording, mixing or production, having an engineer you trust to help navigate it all means you can stay closer to the music.

My Work

About Me
I'm Tomasz Baczkiewicz, a London-based recording and mixing engineer and the founder of Sharp Eleven Recordings. I specialise in soul, R&B, jazz, neo-soul and related contemporary music.
Over the past five years, I've worked with independent artists in London and internationally - from solo artists and singer-songwriters to jazz trios and larger funk and soul ensembles. My work has included recording, mixing and session engineering across a range of projects, from intimate productions to large live recordings.
My musical reference points include D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Roy Hargrove and The Roots. Chasing the right sound is a meditative process for me, and one I genuinely love.
I combine technical knowledge with a deep care for the musical character of a record. I want my work to feel organic, connected and human, while retaining the clarity, depth and impact that allow the music to sound its best.
